Many car and motor racing enthusiasts are probably aware of the model cars that can be purchased in high street shops such as Modelzone. Many are produced by a company called Minichamps and are manufactured in China. However far fewer will know that highly detailed kits are available from many small European manufacturers which give you the opportunity to ply your own skills to build an accurate scale model of your favourite car. The sense of satisfaction when you complete a kit is so much greater then that derived from simply buying a ready built model and putting it on display.
